Al — bright crimson — is the colour of the bride's veil, gifted by her mother-in-law and wrapped around her first child; the colour of love and of a new life. A procession of large butas borders the cloth with the almond-and-flame motif of abundance, while small blossoms within carry the çobanqırxan (daisy). Its name comes from the bride's al and the buta.
