Abeokuta indigo, drawn in cassava paste. Adire Eleko — Yoruba cassava-paste resist geometry, dense hand-drawn grids and concentric squares. Colours: deep indigo ground with the resist pattern in pale blue and cream. This piece has not been made. It is a studio proposal showing what a collaboration with Adaeze Okonkwo could look like, drawn in the composition language of the kelaghayi — a border, a medallion, and the motif scattered across the open field.
