Worn as a pareo, halter or wrap. Each pomegranate is carved into a woodblock and pressed by hand, then dyed in natural pigment by a Shaki master.
In Azerbaijan the pomegranate is the emblem of abundance, fertility and endless life — every seed a wish. This scarf carries that wish, hand-blocked motif by motif.
